Mobile Learning
This week we complete our cross curricular units with a Mobile Learning Asset. This asset actually combines a cross curricular unit with mobile learning. The asset is intended for use with the Science of Sound unit that was offered last week although it could exist independently. Students will use several mobile apps to learn more about human hearing, test their own hearing, and improve their listening skills. The lesson is built with a ‘snow day’ or other school cancellation in mind.
In the first tab you will find the Asset Plan which outlines the lesson for the teacher. The next tab contains the Student Worksheet which is what students would use to complete the activity. Finally the Student Resources tab contains the Data Collection Tools and Spreadsheet that would be included in the ‘Mosquito Snow Day Folder’ of any student participating in the activity.
